The Tubeless Fort Ready tyre, made pre-emptively resistant to liquid leaks thanks to the Vredestein Tire Sealant, a special liquid latex.
This combination offers 3 main advantages : the tyre can be used at a lower air pressure and offers better comfort and grip ; since there is no internal air chamber, the rolling distance is substantially reduced (most of the rolling resistance is generated by friction between tyre and air chamber) and is saved grams per wheel ; the tyre is more durable to the forts because Vredestein's sealant neutralizes any forage caused by, for example, stones or spins.
The new Butyl Shield technology applied protects the carcass 120 TPI and stretches the life span of the tyre. At the same time, the profile of the most rigid heel ensures, at the same time, a proper liquid hold and precise sensations.
This makes the Tubeless Fortress Ready suitable for the largest disc brake brake force.
