The new Fulcrum Speed 42 is Fulcrum's first step into a new era and dimension of brand, Form, Function, Fulcrum,

where form and function are the fundamental concepts.

An evolution without compromise: the new rims - higher, wider, lighter and more aerodynamic - the new hubs and the new spokes,

they make up a perfect wheel system.

The new wider rims , coupled with 28mm tyres, are able to offer a performance combination without compromise,

where aerodynamic penetration, rolling resistance and comfort find their best expression.

The rim is made using resins and fibres made to Fulcrum specifications where, unlike previous versions,

Speed 42 uses a new composite mix of FF100 unidirectional high modulus fibres.

Thanks to numerous experiments, the perfect mix of fibres has been achieved, which combined with the correct positioning of the fibres and

thanks to a very precise control of the resin, it is possible to obtain a product that works in the correct elastic range, guaranteeing

class-leading performance features and a superior driving feel.
