We've embraced the task of improving the so-called bottom bracket standards to bring you the UBB4630. Crafted from 7000 series aluminum alloy, the UBB4630 uses a threaded sleeve to lock both cups in place, freeing up all the clamping effort from the press-fit shell, thus providing smooth rotation and preventing unwanted noise.
Flush mounting in the press-fit region prevents bearing overload and improves bearing alignment for longer bearing life. The outboard bearing position provides smoother rotation and increased bottom bracket shell stiffness for PF30 and BBright standards . The internal sleeve also prevents cable guides from rubbing against rotating parts.
