ASSOS not only developed the first cycling pants in Lycra, but in the late 1970s it was the first manufacturer to introduce thermal sublimation for jerseys into the cycling world, at the same time as the first mixed fabrics in microfiber and polyester, technically sophisticated. In fact, until then, the meshes were made of heavy wool mixed with polyacrylic. After the evolutions introduced by ASSOS, the traditional wool and polyacrylic jerseys have been shelved.
